October in Delhi NCR is primarily called the autumn season, or the post-monsoon transition period leading into early winter. Delhi chapter is planning a Begining of winter ride to Pangot in Uttarakhand on 2nd October to 4th October.

Pangot is around 2,100 m above sea level and is about 300–330 km from Delhi, depending on the route. The final section from Nainital to Pangot is narrower and forested.

The highway portion is comparatively straightforward; the mountain section becomes slower, particularly around Nainital and on the narrower forest road toward Pangot.

Day 1 — Delhi → Pangot

Continue Nainital → Pangot
Check into a Hotel/camp

Day 2 — Pangot + Local Ride
