Some rides are about the destination. Some are about the road, the stories, and the places that most people never get to see.

This time, I'm heading towards Batalik - deep into Ladakh, along some of its most dramatic and lesser-travelled roads. Expect big landscapes, tough riding, remote villages, high passes, and plenty of moments where we’ll simply stop and take it all in.

Sharing the ride plan below.

22 Sep : Arrival Srinagar - Olthingthang
23 Sep : Olthingthang - Kharmang (Khamosh Falls) - Batalik
24 Sep : Batalik - Garkon (via Dah)
25 Sep : Garkon - Hanuthang - Skurbuchan - Dumkbar - Khalsi - Lamayuru
26 Sep : Lamayuru - Sankoo (Kartse Khar Castle & Khashoo Skinkarchay)
27 Sep : Sankoo - Srinagar
28 Sep : Fly Back

My fellow ride companion will be riding back on the below route

28 Sep : Srinagar - Sinthan top - Kishtwar
29 Sep : Kishtwar - Pathankot
30 Sep : Pathankot - Delhi

You never know when you will need a chain saw on a ride. Adding it to my toolkit to carry on ride. Great gesture @chris-mad-dog would rummage through the pile and pick up something and will add something from my side to the pile as well.

Sri Lanka seems to be a nice option Chris.. Similar weather and it's a beautiful country.. And India will always be close by so can come visit us maybe during Bulletiapa's.. Atleast we can hope so

@sajeesh Yes sir, and since water, having a higher density than petrol, separates and accumulates at the lowest point of the fuel tank due to gravity. Under low fuel conditions, when the fuel level approaches the reserve or near-empty state, the probability of water ingress into the fuel delivery system increases significantly. This occurs because the fuel pump intake is positioned near the bottom of the tank, from where it may draw the settled water along with the remaining fuel, potentially leading to engine misfiring, poor combustion, stalling or permanent damage to engine parts. Royal Enfield has already started rolling out E20 complaint carburetors (for obviously older carburetor models) not sure how it works. If anyone has more info or updates, please do share here.
