About CHIKAMAGALUR
Chikmagalur is a city and the headquarters of Chikmagalur district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Located on the foothills of the Mullayanagiri peak of the Western Ghats, the city attracts tourists from around the world for its pleasant and favourable hill station climate, tropical rainforest and coffee estates. The pristine Baba Budangiri lies to the north of Chikmagalur where it's believed Baba Budan first introduced coffee to India.
Chikmagalur is a hill station in Karnataka, a state in southwest India. To the north is Baba Budangiri, a mountain range in the Western Ghats, with 3 large caves said to be holy. Trails through forests and grasslands lead up to Mullayanagiri Peak. The cascading Hebbe Falls lie in an area of coffee plantations. The forested Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, northwest of Chikmagalur, is home to elephants, tigers and leopards.
Chikmagalur is situated in the Malenadu region of Karnataka in the Deccan plateau in the foothills of the Western Ghats. It is situated at an elevation of 1,090 metres (3,580 ft) above mean sea level, meaning, it is the third highest city in Karnataka. The Yagachi River has its source near the town and flows in the south-easterly direction before uniting with the Hemavati river.

05:00 Hours - Meet after PARLE G Toll

  05:30 Hours: Ride starts towards Stay
  06.30 Hours: Stop for tea after Kunigal
  (Approx 60kms)
  07.00 Hours: Ride resumes towards breakfast point (approx 100 kms)
  08:30 Hours: Breakfast Break
  09:30 Hours: Ride resumes
  11.00 Hours: stop for tea near (70kms)
  11.30 Hours: Ride resumes towards the stay ( 55kms)
  1 Hours: Reach the homestay, freshen up

At the Venue:
27th July
1.30 to 2.45 Hours: lunch will be served
3.15 hours: group will head out for an off roading stretch inside the property
4.30 Hours: hi tea / coffee
5.15 hours: group will ride to Mullayanagiri hills
7.30 - 9.30 Hours: bon fire, music, bakar, stories, quality time with the riders
9.00 Hours: Dinner with be ready for whoever wants to eat!!!

28th july
7.00 Hours: Wakey wakey
7.30 Hours: tea / coffee will be served
8.00 Hours: breakfast
9.00 Hours: gear up for the ride back
9.15 Hours: start riding towards Bangalore through BHADRA WILDLIFE SANCTUARY ..

Please note:
This is an overnight ride and will have some mountain section so, be prepared to lean your motorcycles and burn some rubber.

• Please make sure we do not create any kind of ruckus or make it uncomfortable for the rest of the group after getting intoxicated.
  Needless to say, otherwise, this will possibly be your last ride with IBRMC Bengaluru
