IBRians.....as we are getting ready to host the the first overnight ride of 2024, we welcome you to an event filled with adventures, beautiful landscapes, curvy roads and a thrilling ride that promises to take you through the enchanting western ghats... Gear up for an unforgettable bike ride to the beautiful hill station of Kudremukh!!!

About Kudremukh
Kudremukh is an eco-tourism destination; it is a mountain range bearing the name of a peak located in Chikkamagaluru district, in Karnataka, India. It is also the name of a small hill station cum mining town situated near the mountain, about 20 kilometres from Kalasa. The name Kuduremukha literally means ‘horse-faced (Kannada) and refers to a particular picturesque view of a side of the mountain that resembles a horse’s face. It was also referred to as ‘Samseparvata’, historically since it was approached from Samse village. Kuduremukha is Karnataka’s 2nd highest peak after Mullayanagiri.

Kudremukh is a home for many flora and fauna. You can even spot deer and peacocks on the way amongst other wildlife while trekking! It is a beautiful trek across the rolling green hills and misty valleys. You traverse through grasslands, forest and many small streams. Kudremukh comes under Kudremukh National Park which is the second-largest wildlife protected area in the Western Ghats. It is situated at an altitude of 6,207 ft and is the 3rd highest peak of Karnataka after Mullayyangiri and Baba Budangiri.

  06.30 Hours: Stop for tea after Kunigal

  07.00 Hours: Ride resumes towards breakfast point (approx 110kms)
  08:30 Hours: Breakfast Break near Uddur

  11.00 Hours: stop for tea near Banakal (79kms)
  11.30 Hours: Ride resumes towards the stay ( 55kms)
  1.30 Hours: Reach the homestay, freshen up

5.30 Hours: hi tea / coffee
7.30 - 9.30 Hours: bon fire, music, bakar, stories, quality time with the riders
9.00 Hours: Dinner with be ready for whoever wants to eat!!!

25th February
7.00 Hours: Wakey wakey
7.30 Hours: tea / coffee will be served
8.00 Hours: breakfast
9.00 Hours: gear up for the ride back
9.15 Hours: start riding back to Bangalore..

Please note:
This is an overnight ride and will have some mountain section so, be prepared to lean your motorcycles and burn some rubber.

• Please make sure we do not create any kind of ruckus or make it uncomfortable for the rest of the group after getting intoxicated.
  Needless to say, otherwise, this will possibly be your last ride with IBR
