IBRMC Hyderabad - MTR - Kotepally Reservoir - 14th July 2024

Kotepally Reservoir, located about 20 km from the Vikarabad Hills. The Kotepally Dam with its kayaking has been attracting tourists in large numbers. It is approximately 93kms from Hyderabad via Vikarabad.

Eligibility Criteria: All riders from Main Group and Transition Group members who have attended rides in the past or new joiner's who have attended a monthly meet with IBR Hyderabad.

• Destination: Kotepally Reservoir, Vikarabad
• Total Km’s : 85 Kms Approx - One Way

Ride Itinerary:
Sunday: 14th March - Onwards to Kotepally Reservoir

• 5:30 AM - Meetup at BHEL meeting point
• 6:00 AM – Briefing
• 6:10 AM – Ride Start towards destination.
• 7:00 AM – Shankarpalle - Tea and Toilet break (We can stop at any tea stall enroute) [26 Kms]
• 7:15 AM – Ride resume towards Kotepally Reservoir (Vikarabad) [54 km]
• 8:45 AM – Reach Kotepally Reservoir (Vikarabad)
• 9:30 AM - Breakfast (near the Reservoir)
• 9:45 AM – Kayaking and Riding around Lake perimeter if possible
• 11:40 AM – Group Photoshoot
• 11:45 AM – Return Ride towards Hyderabad
• 1:20 PM – Lunch @ KAKA’s Restraurant (Shankarpalle) [60 kms]
• 2:05 PM – Disperse at BHEL Disperse Point [22 kms]

• Riding Jacket or Any thick jacket with elbow guard - (No Body Armor(Rynox) with Jersey allowed)

• Riding Boots (NO SPORTS SHOES/Casual shoes)

• Jumper Cables for Jumpstarting (Optional - Good to have)
