Overnight Ride 27 - 28 July 2024About the Place : Located 84 kms north of Udaipur in the wilderness, Kumbhalgarh is the second most important citadel after Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. Cradled in the Aravali Ranges the fort was built in the 15th century AD by Rana Kumbha. The inaccessibility and hostility of the topography lends a semblance of invincibility to the fort. It served the rulers of Mewar as a refuge in times of strife. The fort also served as refuge to King Udai of Mewar in his early childhood when Banbir killed Vikramaditya and usurped the throne. It is of immense sentimental significance for the people being the birthplace of Mewar's legendary king Maharana Pratap.

IBRMC Ahmedabad Chapter - Mega Adventure Ride 2024Mega Adventure 2024
Tucked away in the majestic Himalayas, Spiti is a land of breathtaking beauty, rich culture, and serene tranquility. This remote region in Himachal Pradesh, India, is a treasure trove of ancient monasteries, pristine lakes, and towering mountains, waiting to be explored.
The rugged terrain, arid landscape, and harsh climate belie the warmth and hospitality of its people. The region's unique blend of Tibetan and Indian cultures is reflected in its architecture, cuisine, and traditions. From the snow-capped peaks to the verdant valleys, Spiti's diverse landscapes are a testament to nature's splendor. It's ancient monasteries, such as Key, Tabo, and Dhankar, are repositories of Buddhist art, culture, and history. The intricate murals, frescoes, and sculptures within these monasteries whisper tales of a bygone era, transporting visitors to a world long forgotten.
Spiti remains an off-the-beaten-path destination, untouched by mass tourism. Its unspoiled beauty, warm hospitality, and rich culture make it an ideal retreat for those seeking solace, adventure, or simply a journey of self-discovery.
