Every CSR is special.. but this was extra special! 10th year anniversary since we started our Fallen but Never Forgotten csr in memory of our extended family who rode on to heaven.. This CSR was our small way of celebrating their lives by giving back to the society in whatever way we can..

To our 'fallen but not forgotten' brothers & sisters - It's been another year without you all but we are keeping the memories close to us.. ️

This sunday is our CSR...a very special one..

We call it 'fallen but not forgotten'.. You know why? Because in the way of life, we all face losses..of our close ones, our bloodline, people we have known since we remember..and then there are some, who might not be related by blood, not by years but maybe with an unspoken bond of being your family away from home..

And even though they're now gone, they have lived their lives, by having the same crazy passion we all here have.. love for riding and the freedom of the roads.. They might not be riding with us now, but they're never forgotten..

And these CSR's are our way of celebrating their memories, celebrating them.. by being present for them..

Over the years we have lost a few of our extended family, many of you might know them.. and some of you might know a few of them.. and some might not know them at all.. Thought I'll just tell a bit about them..

Ramandeep Singh Monga -
He's the one who gave us this extended family, founder of IBR Bangalore. Raman was one of the quirkiest guys I knew. His one-liners were killer and his take on life was always on the fun side. He was always present for anyone in need, to give you suggestions, to joke about tough times to make it easy, to teach us that life is short and that we should live everyday like it's the last. He left behind a legacy which we are trying to carry forward today.

Avinash Kaim -
One of the initial members of IBR Bangalore. An avid rider, he did Bangalore to Delhi on his thunderbird in 2 straight days. Iron butt is what we used to call him. Full of life and a great friend. His love for the roads is what we carry with us today.

Squadron Leader Samir Abrol -
A legend of the Indian Air Force and pride of IBR Bangalore. He was a Mirage 2000 test pilot and lost his life serving the nation. He carried his pride and love for the nation on our rides. We all used to love gathering around him to hear about this air warrior's stories of the sky. His wife Garima Abrol joined the IAF 5 months after his martyrdom to carry on his legacy. His disciple and passion is what leads us today in our rides.

Arjun Chandra Shekar -
A very gentle guy who was one of the first to always respond for SOS calls in IBR Bangalore. He loved riding with us, always used to say that IBR has given him a new lease of life. But fate had other plans. His caring nature is what we carry with us even today.

Sudha Upadhya -
Sudha 'akka' as most of us fondly used to call her. She was the omnipresent guidance for everyone. Not sure how she used to manage being a shoulder to everyone in need. I'm sure most of you here today have known her and know the love she used to bring for all of us. One of the most dedicated members of IBR Bangalore who used to wear her passion for IBR up her sleeves. It's hard to believe she's not there physically with us today but we will forever carry the love and care she showered on all of us.

So this CSR is a celebration of the lives of 5 fantastic people we had the privilege of knowing and riding together with. This is our way of celebrating their lives and keeping their memories alive within us. They are our guardian angels and keep us safe on the roads. They might have fallen but never forgotten.

Even if you knew them or not, your presence for these CSR's makes a world of difference for IBR Bangalore. It gives us the strength to look past the unfortunate incidents which took our beloved people away from us and celebrate their lives by spending time with the less privileged and giving back to the society in whatever way we can.

It's a request to everyone, CSR's are what makes IBR different and special than any other riding club, this is what bonds us as an extended family. So be there, show up, and celebrate with us the lives of our guardian angels who are looking upon us from the heavens and smile as we carry their legacy ahead.
