  • Hello brethren,
I'm a new member from the Delhi Chapter so first of all, Hello to all and everyone in the IBR family across India.
My VERY first query to this fantastic think-tank of bikers here is about Handlebar risers on Interceptor 650. Has anyone installed a handlebar riser on a Interceptor? Any feedback of installation ease/difficulty and usage? Been eyeing this one from Zana (link below) .
I've heard clutch wire needs to be changed? Don't know how true is that.
Any advice/wisdom/suggestions are welcome Thanks for reading and Godspeed everyone 🙏

  • Though I personally haven't tried it, I know a few folks who got it done without getting the cables changed. Its justa few inches lift and the existing cable length is enough to componsate extra length.

In general, risers do make hell lot of difference as it improves your overall sitting posture a bit upright hence less stress to lower back. Maneuverability also improves.

Go for it and come back with your review for others' benefit.

  • I and Srinivas sir are using Carbon Racing ones. They perform admirably without any riding concerns. As for installation, it simply entails rerouting the throttle and clutch cables from beneath the tank; there's no need to replace the clutch cable.

  • Hi Prashant, As we spoke on the call i have been using this raisers from past 3 years. I am using 2 different raisers of 1 inch and 2 inch raiser. So overall it makes 3 inch and i have not changed any cables as rachit mentioned just a re routing of cables is only required. Will show you on sunday meet. Just experience the comfort of riding with raiser feel like you are riding the Himalayan.

@sajeesh thank for the advice bro. Finally decided to not get handle risers. Done 1500 kms on the new bike and stock handle feels good enough so thought why bother the factory setting so to say 🙂

  • Me! HDT customs or Carbon racing! Both are good. No alteration required on any cable.

  • Update: got Carbon Racing straight risers and loving every bit of it. I did try the slant ones but they didn't do it for me. Thanks for your advice brethren.

Another way is to post it under General discussion category and if chapter mods wants to make it (the meet or the ride) official, they can move the post to Events section.

Probably too late to comment here, but I love the battery of Sena B20. Used for a full ride during QCM, and after almost 14 hrs it was still at 35%. For most of the time it was connected to bluetooth as well (though was not using music streaming) Also if you pickup this devices from PowerSports, Hyderabad in person, then they provide extra 5% discount
