I have ridden over 20,000km across Western Europe, and realized that I haven't explored my own backyard.

So I decided that when October comes, I will ride to the North East first since I've somewhat done North and South and the West.

Then I thought,

why stop there. I work remote, I have a nice bike that I need to use, let me also do Wagah Border and Rann of Kutch.

Then I thought,

why stop there? everyone else is on the way somewhere.

Then I thought, at this point I don't know what I'm doing, so I might as well see everyone and do a chapter run.

So here's what I'm doing

1 Bangalore → Salem → Madurai → Rameswaram 620 Bangalore

4 Durgapur → Malda → Siliguri → Dooars → Guwahati → Tura 1320 Guwahati
5 Wangala at Asanang → Shillong → Cherrapunji → Dawki → Kaziranga → Kohima → Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 1470 —
6 Guwahati → Siliguri → Patna → Varanasi → Lucknow → Nainital → Corbett → Dehradun → Amritsar (Attari–Wagah) 3430 Patna, Dehradun

8 legs of me not knowing what I'm doing, and if I can get a couch to crash on rather than spend money at a hostel/hotel, I can cook, clean and I've worked on a farm and at a mechanic when I was doing the same thing in Norway.

I leave on October 16 2026, and I have no idea when I'm back. I will be in the North East for roughly 3 weeks to a month, to catch Wangala, NERM, and the Cherry Blossom festival in Shillong. I might be there in Nagaland for Hornbill, but I don't know yet. However, I expect to be home by New Year hopefully hahahaha

Fantastic plan @dhananjay ... Nonetheless to say, though you have full 2 years from 18th October onwards to complete the chapter run, i'm sure you will achieve it in few months.

Thank you Sajeesh bhai. I haven't registered for it yet, I don't want to commit either since it's coinciding between the Cherry Blossom Festival I want to attend in Meghalaya. Given that it's also pretty far out and that I'm riding and no idea how predictable/unpredictable my days are, I'll register closer to the event if slots are available. Else we'll figure some jugaad if a jugaad's possible.

Superb plan DJ.. That's the best way to explore our own beautiful country.. The experiences you'll have are surely gonna stay with you forever..

I hope you've planned for Bulletiapa during your chapter run, we all will be eager to hear about the stories of the beautiful NE..

Satty bhai, I have not planned for Bulletiappa yet because I can't commit what's going to happen on the road for me yet. I will probably drop by but not stay. Let's see, I'm playing it by ear My best rides are generally when I don't know what I'm doing the very next day hahahaha

That's the best kind of rides where you don't know where you'll land up tomorrow..But but but, you can't skip Bulletiapa, that's our mecca and a 3 day chill session would definitely help you for your next leg of chapter run..
