ODISHA ODYSSEY 2026 – THE BULLETIAPA HERITAGE LOOP
IBRMC Hyderabad presents – Odisha Odyssey 2026
16th December – 30th December 2026
“Same Roads, New Stories.”
About the Ride
IBRMC Hyderabad is back with another Mega Adventure! This December, we embark on Odisha Odyssey 2026 – The Bulletiapa Heritage Loop, a 15-day motorcycle expedition through the fascinating landscapes and cultural heartlands of Central and Eastern India.
This expedition is an opportunity to experience a different side of India – ancient temples, Buddhist monasteries, tribal heritage, forgotten historical sites, winding mountain roads, waterfalls, coastal landscapes and the beautiful Eastern Ghats.
Our journey takes us through Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand before joining the 12th edition of Bulletiapa 2026 at Sambodhi Retreat, Dhanbad. From there, we venture into Odisha, exploring its rich spiritual and cultural heritage before making our way through its highlands and scenic landscapes towards Hyderabad.
Destinations & Highlights
Jharkhand – Sambodhi Retreat, Dhanbad
The gathering point for Bulletiapa 2026! An opportunity to reconnect with the brotherhood, celebrate motorcycling and share stories with fellow riders from across the country. This year marks the 12th edition of Bulletiapa.
Jajpur – Biraja Temple
One of the most significant Shakti Peethas in India, the ancient Biraja Temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. Its historical and spiritual significance makes it an important destination in Odisha's religious landscape.
Odisha's Buddhist Diamond Triangle – Ratnagiri, Udayagiri & Lalitgiri
Odisha was once a prominent centre of Buddhist learning and culture. The Buddhist Diamond Triangle showcases magnificent monasteries, stupas, sculptures and archaeological remains dating back several centuries. These sites offer a fascinating glimpse into India's Buddhist heritage.
Jirang – Padmasambhava Mahavihara
Often called the Little Tibet of Odisha, Jirang is home to Padmasambhava Mahavihara, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in Eastern India. Surrounded by hills and lush greenery, the monastery's Tibetan architecture, colourful interiors and peaceful surroundings make it one of the most distinctive destinations of this expedition.
Taptapani – Natural Hot Springs
Nestled in the Eastern Ghats, Taptapani is known for its natural hot springs. A beautiful combination of forested hills, winding roads and natural thermal waters makes this an interesting stop along our journey.
Gopalpur – The Eastern Coast
A coastal destination on the Bay of Bengal, Gopalpur offers a completely different landscape from the mountains and forests of inland Odisha. A chance to experience the quieter side of Odisha's coastline.
Koraput – The Highlands of Odisha
One of the most beautiful and culturally diverse regions of Odisha, Koraput is known for its rolling hills, forests, waterfalls, valleys and indigenous tribal communities.
Deomali – The Highest Peak of Odisha
Rising to approximately 1,672 metres, Deomali is Odisha's highest mountain peak. Its scenic approach roads, panoramic views and surrounding Eastern Ghats make it a highlight for motorcycle enthusiasts.
Duduma Falls & Kolab Reservoir
Duduma Falls, formed by the Machkund River, is among the spectacular waterfalls of the region. Kolab Reservoir, surrounded by hills and greenery, offers another opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the Koraput highlands.
And, of course, we are leaving room for a few unexplored roads and destinations along the way!
The IBR Way of Riding
Anyone who has ridden with IBRMC knows that our itineraries are rarely set in stone.
We are notoriously famous for spontaneous route changes, unplanned detours and improvisations. Some of our most memorable experiences have come from places that weren't even on the original itinerary.
While we have identified our major destinations and planned the broad circuit, there will always be room for the unexpected.
An interesting trail, an unexplored village, a scenic mountain road or an offbeat destination could easily become the highlight of our expedition.
The itinerary is our starting point, not our rulebook!
Eligibility Criteria
Considering that this is a long-distance motorcycle expedition covering approximately 4,000 km across multiple states, the following criteria apply:

- ADV or touring motorcycles are preferred.
- Riders must be physically and mentally fit for consecutive days of riding.
- Motorcycles must be properly serviced and mechanically sound before departure.
