Riding the Winds of Brotherhood to Spiti and Beyond..

Delhi NCR
  • Ek Aur Mega Adventure

In the rugged heart of the Himalayas, where the air is thin and the mountains stand sentinel, a brotherhood of riders is brewing. Their motorcycles, gleaming like metallic steeds, await the call to adventure. Their destination? The mystical Spiti Valley and beyond.

This Brotherhood has a story etched into their leather jackets—a tale of freedom, resilience, and camaraderie. They are not just riders; they are wanderers, seekers of the untamed. The journey and itinerary will unfold before them—a serpentine ribbon will form again, that will whine through valleys, across roaring rivers, and up treacherous passes. The wind will whisper secrets in their ears, and the mountains will stand a witness to their pact: to ride as one, to share laughter around campfires, and to find solace in the vastness of the wilderness. Their bond of brotherhood is not forged in luxury hotels or plush resorts. It has evolved in shared meals cooked over campfires, in helping hands when a bike faltered, and in the silence of star-studded nights. They laughed, they sang, and sometimes, they simply sat in awe of the vastness around them.

Cutting long story short, here is a list of riders who are preparing to dust of the old memories and creating new ones:

    1. Rajiv aka lambu
    2. Deepak Jha aka DJ
    3. CP aka Narad
    4. Ash aka irritating
    5. Umang aka Mangi
    6. Haidar Abbas aka Doc
    7. Santosh aka Macha
    8. Vaibhav aka Pehle wala
    9. Vivek Johar aka Carwale

This will be Delhi Chapters EK AUR MA during the same time period. So all in all two Mega Adventure Rides to Zanskar/Ladakh and Spiti region will be a FIRST of its kind where a chapter does the entire circuit of Ladakh and Spiti in one go. Due to the nature of the journey and resources we are keeping it a closed ride and we are unable to accept any more entries for this Adventure.

This ride does not have any fixed itinerary - "Let the wind be our map, the open road our guide, and the thrill of adventure our compass. No fixed plans, just the spirit of camaraderie and the joy of riding wherever the moment takes us.”

  • Eagerly waiting for this another epic journey
    #Aando #EkAurMA #PhirSeUdChalle

  • The write up is giving me goose bumps. It beautifully captures the spirit of our upcoming adventure. The way it describes our brotherhood, the shared bond, and the breathtaking landscapes we’ll explore is truly inspiring. It really brings to life the essence of our journey and the camaraderie that makes it so special. This adventure is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience for all of us.

  • Eagerly waiting. Time to burn some asphalt. #EkAurMA #PhirSeUdChalle Aando

  • Talking about asphalt, puncture kit kaun rakh raha hai?

  • Old days...Ride discussions are back on forum. Puncture Kit kaun rakhega, tools Kaun rakhega..I am already loving it ..

  • And the sleepless nights with anxiety and rush starts again, still feels like the first ride with the brothers for eternity.
So desperate to make the history, to share the moments, to have that eye to eye conversation on the road through our rear view mirrors, to follow the brother riding in front in the same pot holes. To get high on the company of brothers around. Just to be there in that moment. Where conversations don't need words but the presence. The wind buzzing OM MANI PADME HUM through our hearts and minds.
As Rajiv bhai said. Write up giving gooze bumps.
Also making my adrenaline pump everytime I read this, and so irresistible to go through it again by my brother aka irritating 😉
    Ab bas. AANDO

  • What are the dates btw?

  • 23rd Aug to 2nd Sept are the tentative dates chief

  • I might have the complete tools set. I'll looks for it and update. Regarding rental bikes, do we need to carry tube or it will be available?

  • Update on entering Chandra Taal region if entering from Losar ( Kaza side) or Koksar (Manali side).
It is advisable to cross the checkpost as early as possible.
There is no declared specific timing to cross the check post but the earlier it's done better it is as there is no network in that region so the disaster management teams does not allow late entry on that route.
There is no mobile network after crossing the check post and at Chandra taal region entry.
It's better to pre-book your stay at Chandra taal, only camp stays are available.
Few of the camp stays may allow to pitch own tent (on payment basis) and at their discretion only. No personal camping is allowed.

  • Awesome writeup Ash. It is actually giving goosebumps and good to see people/discussion back on forum like good old days. There is no 2nd thought that this ride is going to be full of life time memories. All the very best to all the riders.

I'm certain people must be having all the tools with them but let me know if tyre opening tools/rods with adhesives required. Or complete puncture kit required for tube or tubeless bikes.
